OCCUPY HIGH SCHOOL LETTER OF PROTEST We are High School students, parents, and teachers, speaking on behalf of and with our classmates, our guardians and our educators affected by the deterioration of our country's educational system. We are the voice of those affected most by the shift of the economic burden of operating schools from those who are most able to pay, to the bottom 99% . We will not stand by as our schools are hollowed out by budget cuts, teacher lay-offs, inflating class sizes, and corporatization. We add our voice to those who stand for the future of students, and against those law-making bodies which have left us for too long to fend for ourselves, preferring to trade in the tomorrow of the United States for a buck. We stand in solidarity with students at all levels of education, from kindergarten through university. Those of us who are old enough to vote, will; those of us who aren't, will remember.
